John can now smile and eat with comfort and confidence.
CASE NOTE: It was frustrating for John as he had single individual crowns breaking off at the gumline. Unfortunately John was told by two other dentists all his upper teeth had to come out! Had he saved them as we recommended and then supplemented his natural teeth with Mini Dental Implants, he could and should have had a fixed bridge that would restore his upper arch as if they were his own permanent teeth! He chose instead surgical extractions!?!? We at least added six (6) Mini Dental Implants to secure his palataless denture and preserved the underlying bone. An overdenture is certainly superior to a full denture…but nothing beats a fixed bridge for it’s natural-like restoration that connects crowns together so they don’t fall off. Dr. Ronald P.
